This incredibly kind and moving story is happening next door right now, real and relevant as it has never been before. A Crimean Tatar family is forced to leave their homeland and start life from scratch. New life greets them with a lovely courtyard and a committee of distrustful stares from their new neighbors. This is what the world of adults is like, and yet the main characters of our story are sweet and trusting kids, pure dreamers and visionaries.
Aisha, a nine-year-old girl, misses her home. Other children do not accept her, but the ice is slowly breaking, and she finds a friend. Kolka, a twelve-year-old who wants to build a glider, is willing to overcome his own fear of heights and many other obstacles in order to take his new friend to her native Crimea.
The project is at the postproduction stage.
